Which devices can I read the eBooks on?
Every deal can be read on any Kindle e-reader. By installing one of Amazon’s free apps you can also read on a computer, tablet or smartphone.
How do I get an eBook onto my Kindle?
Click “View deal” on a book, you’ll be taken to Amazon, check the price and click “Buy now”. Then pick your Kindle from the “Deliver to” list — it arrives automatically.
Can I read an eBook on several devices?
Yes. All purchased eBooks live in your Amazon cloud, which all your devices (signed in to the same account) can access.
Can I return an eBook?
You can return it up to seven days after purchase, from the “Manage your content and devices” page or via Kindle support.
Why is there a separate KindofBook for US?
Kindle deals differ by country, so we run separate sites for DE, UK and US — that way you only see deals you can actually download in your country.
How do I sign up for the newsletter?
Enter your email on our newsletter page, pick your favourite genres, and confirm via the link in the confirmation email. That’s it — free, daily deals from then on.
I’m not receiving the newsletter. What can I do?
Check your spam folder, make sure you confirmed your subscription, and add info@kindofbook.com and noreply@kindofbook.com to your contacts. Still nothing? Get in touch.
How do I unsubscribe?
Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you’re off the list.
I’m an author or publisher — can you feature my eBook?
Yes! In the author area you can book your own promotion: add your book, pick your promo days and book it — we’ll then feature your eBook to our newsletter subscribers. We also keep hunting for matching deals ourselves. See the “For Authors” page.
What is an e-reader / a Kindle?
An e-reader shows your book collection on an easy-on-the-eyes display, holds many titles and has a long battery life. Amazon’s Kindle is the market leader — but you can read the same books with Amazon’s free apps on a computer, tablet or smartphone too.
How do I get an eBook onto my computer, tablet or phone?
The same way as onto a Kindle — you just install Amazon’s free Kindle app for your device first, then deliver the book to it.
Can I buy on Amazon stores of other countries?
No — you buy on your own country’s Amazon store. While travelling abroad you can still buy through your home store.
Your emails keep landing in my spam folder. What can I do?
Add noreply@kindofbook.com to your address book or mark our email as “not spam”, so future newsletters arrive in your inbox.
Anything to consider when buying a Kindle for my child?
Tip: first sign in with your own account and download the books you want, then sign out; turning off Wi-Fi prevents further purchases. A protective case is worth it too.
